Welcome to the Colorado Recycling Guide®!

This guide to statewide recycling resources has been prepared as a public service and convenience. It is intended to be a resource to identify recyclers and the materials and products that they accept for recycling. Listings in the Guide are purely voluntary, and there is neither a cost nor charge associated with being listed. The information included with each listing was submitted by the recyclers themselves, or secured from publicly available information. Colorado Recycles makes no endorsement of any recycler or recycling activity listed in the Guide.

This Guide is intended to be a dynamic source of information. It will be constantly changing as we get new information about recycling activities, so please check it often.

The name "Colorado Recycling Guide®" is a registered trademark name with the Colorado Secretary of State, and is proprietary to Colorado Recycles, Inc.

We highly recommend that the listed recyclers be contacted before products or materials are taken to them. Some recyclers have operational requirements for the preparation of materials before they can be accepted. Some recyclers may impose fees or other charges for their services, be sure to inquire when researching. This caution may be particularly important if the recycler is not located within the State of Colorado.

How To Use The Colorado Recycling Guide®
How To Become Listed In The Colorado Recycling Guide, and How To Update Listings In The Colorado Recycling Guide ®

How to use this Guide:

The information is organized under the various counties within the State of Colorado. Simply go to the convenient pull down menus at the top of the page. Scroll down to the product you are interested in, and select it. Scroll down the county pull down menu, and select the county you are interested in and select it. Click on submit, and the available recycling resources that serve that county will be made available to you. Resources that serve all geographic areas of the state are also listed under each of the counties as you select the product you are interested in recycling.

As a helpful hint for researching computer related recycling resources, we have temporarily included all computer, computer disk, floppy disk, toner cartridges, inkjet cartridges, cellular phone, electronics, computer peripherals and other specific items under the common product heading of "Computers, Electronics and Related." This is a temporary holding category until we can subdivide the category into more useful groupings.

There are two other "holding" categories in place at this time. The first is for various plastics, and the second is for various papers. When we have the data base converted, we will also subdivide these categories into subgroupings that will make your search easier. For now, however, please contact the identified recycler to determine which particular types of plastics or paper that they accept.

Since the information is organized by mailing address within each of the counties, be sure to review counties in close proximity to the county you are interested in. Very often recyclers will have a fairly large geographic area that they service which is well beyond where their mailing address is located.

Many of these listings also include website addresses and e-mail addresses. We have provided a direct hyperlink to each of these websites both as part of the Guide listing and also through our Links page.
