Welcome
to the Colorado Recycling Guide®!
Welcome to the Colorado Recycles statewide guide to recycling resources. This
guide to recycling resources has been prepared as a public service
and convenience. It is intended to be a resource to identify recyclers
and the materials and products that they accept for recycling.
Listings in the
Guide are purely voluntary, and there is neither a cost nor charge
associated with being listed. The information included with each
listing was submitted
by the recyclers themselves, or secured from publicly available
information. Colorado Recycles makes no endorsement of any recycler
or recycling activity
listed in the Guide.
(Quick jump
to Recycling Guide) How To Use
The Guide
The Guide is
very simple to use and is designed to help you locate the recycler
that is best suited for your needs. Further down the page is
a link that will take you to the Material Index page. On the
Material Index page, you will find a table of products and materials
that we have collected recycling information about. Simply click
on the material you are interested in recycling (e.g., newspaper,
aluminum cans, etc.)
That link will
open a page that provides access to the recycler information
for that material. The page is organized by county, and the recyclers
are listed by category. You can search for a drop off facility,
a curbside program, a nonprofit recycler, a national recycler
or a Colorado recycler who serves the entire state or a significant
substate area.
If we have
information that there is a recycler that is in a category that
services that county, the word "Available" is displayed. Clicking
on the word "Available" opens the list of the recyclers in that
category for that county.
The recycler
list is displayed first alphabetically by city (Alamosa comes
before Hooper in Alamosa County) and then alphabetically by recycler
within that city or town.

Guide
We
highly recommend that the listed recyclers be contacted before products
or materials are taken to them. Some recyclers have operational requirements
for the preparation of materials before they can be accepted. Some recyclers
may impose fees or other charges for their services, be sure to inquire
when researching. This caution may be particularly important if the
recycler is not located within the State of Colorado. Getting Listed
in the Recycling Guide
If you want to be listed as a recycler in our Guide, we need you to provide
us the information about you and what you recycle. There is on
charge or fee for being listed. To become listed, please print
and complete the information form. You can print the PDF form and
FAX it to us. Link to PDF form.
